10 Things I Did In Bangkok 2012

I had a Stroke in October of 2010, which had left me somewhat physically challenged for some time, but have since gotten to a point I can still travel overseas by myself, with the first trip post-Stroke was to Bangkok, Thailand. Having been flown in as a Judge for a Design Contest, I was still walking around with a walking cane then.

These are “10 Things I Did In Bangkok 2012”, with accompanying URL-links to blogged impressions on TOYSREVIL.

Counting down, not (necessarily) in any particular order of importance :p

Shopped at Klong Tom Night Market

#10. Shopped at Klong Tom Night Market (as short as it was ;p / *Blogged #onTOYSREVIL) … the first time I was there was in 2010, pre-Stroke too! Things had changed by 2012, and again later when I returned to Bangkok for the third time, in 2014.

Shopped at MBK

#09. Shopped at MBK (as short as it was ;p / *Blogged #onTOYSREVIL).

Scored awesome toys

Made new friends and met old friends

#07. Made new friends and met old friends - which was more invigorating than anyone imagines :)

Judged a Design Contest

#06. Judged a Design Contest - and even wore a tight-fitting jacket for vanity's sakes too lol. It was my late-Dad’s wedding jacket, and I have since outgrown it and retired it respectfully :)

Fell off a Bed

#05. Fell off a Bed … and it was first time in my life too - true story, from a double-sized bed, no less lol. I’ll try and find more snaps of this backpacker’s hostel to showcase here!

Spoke at a Public Talk

#04. Spoke at a Public Talk (and over-ran the duration when it was my time, as usual ;p / *Blogged #onTOYSREVIL)

Visited Awesome Places

#03. Visited Awesome Places … I’m not one for touristy-escapades, so urban spots work for me. This was at the “BatCat Museum” - with an entire folder of images I have yet posted anywhere else online too!

Ate like "No Tomorrow"

#02. Ate like "No Tomorrow” (like a Stroke-survivor would carefully do, of course ;p), with my ‘Best’ meal being a take-away from "Yum Saap" Thai local fast-food chain = with the Crispy Vegetable Salad dipped in spicy+sour broth with prawns being utter genius! I still miss it til now too hahahaha

Came back home in one piece

#01. Came back home in one piece (that's more important than anyone ever realizes or maybe even care for lol).
